Accessing Reports through the Dynamic Reporting Suite

If your district has either joined NWEA since the Fall of 2006 or has upgraded their membership to include the Dynamic Reporting Suite, you have some data analysis tools at your finger tips.

First, log on to the NWEA reports site. Open NWEA's site (given below) and choose the "Log In: Reports Site" button. There you will enter your login and password. (If you do not know your login and password, your local district MAP coordinator can access that for you.) Scroll down the left hand menu bar and click on "Dynamic Reports" which is under the Data-Tools heading.

District by School or Grade

Here there is a bar that is divided into four colors. Red represents students who had a growth less than typical and who are not projected to be proficient on the state test (i.e. ITBS or ITED). Yellow represents students who had a growth greater than typical but yet are not projected to be proficient on the state test. Green represents students who had a growth greater than typical and who are expected to be proficient on the state test. And, orange represents students who had a growth less than typical but who are still expected to be proficient on the state test.

The projected performance is based on a comparison study of MAP results and ITBS and ITED scores done by NWEA.

You can narrow the students included in this report through the menu options of either school or grade, then following the menu prompts. Remember to click the Run Documents button at the top to see the report.

Goal or Grade by RIT Band

The report for goal gives the student count at each RIT block of 10 within each goal strand. The report for grade gives the student count at each RIT block of 10 within each grade. You can click on the student count to see the names of these students.

Lexile Report

See the section on Lexiles within this website for more information.

School/Teacher/Class Overview

This report will show you the percent of students performing at Lo, Avg or High growth as compared to the norm study. It will show you the percent of students who are projected to perform at various levels on the state test (i.e. ITBS and ITED), and it gives a quartile distribution of students as they compare to the norm study.
